On Monday 1st February, Chris Goode & Company will be embarking on rehearsals for Jo Clifford’s extraordinary play Every One, which we’re presenting at BAC in March.
As part of our first week, we’re running a day in CG&Co’s #OpenHouse format. Very simply: the door of the rehearsal room is open, and anyone who wants to come in and join us is very welcome.
The idea is to create a new, expanded space for different kinds of collective dialogue, making, thinking, research, exploration and companionship, as the cast take early steps in developing their relationship with the play. Whether you come and spend all day with us, or hang out for an hour, or just pop your head round the door for five minutes, you’re welcome to be a part of #OpenHouse in whatever way you’re comfortable with — writing, making, singing, playing, chatting, quietly sitting, observing…
The Every One #OpenHouse event is on Thursday 4th February at Alford House, Aveline Street, Kennington, London SE11 5DQ. (Nearest tubes: Kennington, Oval, Vauxhall. Lots of buses - see their web site.) Doors open at 10.30am and visiting hours finish at 7pm. No admission charge, no need to book: just come in and join us. (When you arrive, ask at reception for the Gymnasium.) Please get in touch if you have any special access needs we need to be aware of.
